Forgotten Land sucht ab sofort eine:n Verantwortliche:n in Kulturfundraising (im Mandat) Forgotten Land ist ein internationales Kulturprojekt des Berliners Volker Eschmann. Das Projekt besteht aus einem multinationalen Team mit operativer Leitung in Deutschland. Das Herz von Forgotten Land bilden Kulturveranstaltungen mit Schwerpunkt auf Tanz, Musik und Gemeinschaft. Der Fokus liegt auf Contact Improvisation und Ecstatic Dance, aber auch auf anderen Tanz- und Bewegungsarten wie Yoga, TaiChi, 5 Rhythms, African Dance, Body Percussion und viele mehr. Ebenfalls Teil des Angebots sind Worldmusic Konzerte, Singkreise und künstlerische Performances. Die jährlich grossen und kleineren Kulturveranstaltungen (Festivals, Gatherings, Retreats, Workshops, Konzerte und Tanzabende) finden in Portugal, Deutschland und Indien (Goa) statt und setzen neben Community Building auf Kulturaustausch. Die Forgotten Land Community ermutigt Menschen, in einem sicheren Rahmen ihr kreatives Potenzial zu erkennen und zu nutzen. In den Workshops, Gatherings und Festivals arbeiten wir mit verschiedenen künstlerischen Methoden, die es einem ermöglichen, sich spielerisch zu entfalten. Forgotten Land setzt auf Kunst und Kultur, um Ausdruck, Kooperation, interkulturellen Austausch und Kommunikation zu fördern. Mehr Infos findest du unter forgotten-land.com. Um diese Kulturveranstaltungen realisieren zu können, ist Forgotten Land auf Zuwendungen von Stiftungen, öffentliche Fördergelder und private Gönnerinnen und Gönner angewiesen, weshalb wir auf der Suche nach einer verantwortlichen Person fürs Kulturfundraising in Deutschland sind. Das nächste große Tanzprojekt findet im Januar 2024 in Indien statt (Goa Contact Improvisation Festival) und setzt auf ein Scholarship-Programm für die Förderung 30 indischer Tänzerinnen und Tänzer, damit ein Kulturaustausch zwischen deutschen und indischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern ermöglicht wird. Idealerweise kannst du sofort starten, damit wir noch allfällige Förderbeiträge für dieses Projekt beantragen können. Deine Aufgaben - In Absprache mit der künstlerischen und organisatorischen Leitung schreibst du Gesuche an Deutsche Stiftungen sowie Förderstellen und hilfst, die Erträge aus Fundraising zu sichern sowie die Geldgeber:innen zu betreuen (z.B. mittels allfälligen Berichten nach eingegangenen Fördergeldern). Um das Erstellen eines Gesuchs zu vereinfachen, ist bereits ein ausführliches Dossier mit Textbausteinen vorhanden, das Forgotten Land und seine Projekte beschreibt. - Dazu gehören sowohl die Recherche wie auch die Evaluation von passenden Stiftungen und Fördergelder-Ausschreibungen und deren Eingabefristen. - Du vertrittst Forgotten Land gegenüber Stiftungen und Gönner:innen. Dein Profil - Du hast Erfahrung im Fundraising für Kulturprojekte und kennst dich in der Deutschen Stiftungslandschaft aus (vorzugsweise im Bereich Tanz, Musik und Kunst). - Du bist kommunikativ und arbeitest selbstständig, strukturiert und effizient. - Du schreibst gerne und gut, deine Gesuche und Berichte sind von hoher Qualität. - Du interessierst dich für das Projekt Forgotten Land, kannst dich mit den Inhalten identifizieren und du bist persönlich interessiert daran, das Projekt mit Hilfe deines Engagements zum Fliegen zu bringen und Teil des internationalen Teams zu werden. - Du bist selbstständig erwerbend und rechnest über dich ab. The annual large and small cultural events (festivals, gatherings, retreats, workshops, concerts and dance evenings) take place in Portugal, Germany and India (Goa) and focus on community building and cultural exchange. In order to realize these cultural events Forgotten Land relies on donations from foundations, public funding and private patrons, which is why we are looking for a person responsible for cultural fundraising in Germany. The next big dance project will take place in India in January 2024 (Goa Contact Improvisation Festival) and relies on a scholarship program to support 30 Indian dancers to enable a cultural exchange between German and Indian artists. Ideally you can start immediately, so that we can still apply for possible grants for this project. Your tasks - In consultation with the artistic and organizational management, you will write applications to German foundations and funding agencies and help to secure the income from fundraising as well as to look after the donors (e.g. by means of possible reports on received funding). In order to simplify the preparation of an application, a detailed dossier with text modules describing Forgotten Land and its projects is already available. - This includes research as well as evaluation of suitable foundations and grant calls and their submission deadlines. - You will represent Forgotten Land to foundations and benefactors. Your profile - You have experience in fundraising for cultural projects and are familiar with the German foundation landscape (preferably in the field of dance, music and art). - You are communicative and work independently, structured and efficient. - You enjoy writing and your applications and reports are of high quality. - You are interested in the Forgotten Land project, you can identify with its contents and you are personally interested in making the project fly with the help of your commitment and becoming part of the international team. - You are self-employed and you bill yourself.
