About this Event
CHANGE OF VENUE
Wednesdays are now at Larch Leith Walk (Pilrig St Paul's Church) - they have a really great floor for dancing!

There are lots of buses, tram, free parking and bike stands. Come to the smaller door, a bit along Pilrig Street, that has it's own slate roof, press the Silver buzzer and we'll let you in. See you there! 🎉
We're passionate about Forró 🔥 the partner dance of Brazil! 🇧🇷
Everyone's welcome, there's no need to bring a partner or book, just bring yourself and be ready to dance close.
⏰7:30 Beginners class (level 0)
⏰8:00 Improvers class (level 1)
⏰8:30-10:00 Dancing 💃🕺
Classes are by donation and the dancing is free.
It's best danced in light, flat, comfortable shoes (no heel).
Tonight's teacher:
- Robin has been dancing and teaching Forró at a high level for several years. He dances mostly as a leader but follows often and has a good insight into following and teaches both. His background is in Salsa and Tango, but he fell in love with Brazilian rhythms after playing in a Samba band.
How do you say Forró anyway?
You say Four Horses, but stop at the o in Horses.
