Foundations to Blues Dancing (4 Week Series)

In this foundations series, we’ll introduce you to the core elements that make blues dancing feel so good, whether the song is slow and smoooooth, funky and driving, or somewhere in between. Because blues is a family of dances rather than just one style, this series is designed to stay open and adaptable. Each week, your instructors will explore different foundational concepts such as: pulse, groove, and grounded movement; partnership connection and conversation; rhythmic play and musicality You’ll learn a range of movements and ideas that help you feel at home on any blues dance floor, no matter the tempo or vibe.
