FREE DIWALI SESSION @ Learn Social Dancing!

We know everyone has their own fun way of celebrating DIWALI ( the festival of lights ) but we at Dance Design want to spread a little bit of joy in the only way we know how !! So come along on this #funsunday and learn some really sweet moves with our super fun instructors and get to move those happy feet for absolutely NO CHARGE. Why are we doing this, you ask ? Simply because - We Can. We Want To. We Like Seeing People Smile. We Love Our Jobs. Don't know what social dancing is? here is the idea of it ---- Salsa is a social dance. It is not just choreography. Born as a dance from the streets of Cuba and Puerto Rico, it has singularly brought together various communities through the love of the music and dance. We at Dance Design want to encourage that essence of the dance form and aim to teach people the international standard of salsa; it’s music, concepts and etiquettes. The flexible format of the class has been designed keeping in mind that each student learns differently. We have allotted 2 time slots on Sundays. Anyone that wants to learn can drop in at the start of each batch and will be integrated into the current flow of the class. The session will be divided into 2 major parts – 1. Learning a new step 2. Practicing / Social dancing THE ICING ON THE CAKE: You, as a student decide how fast or slow you want to learn! Its true. Each of you will be handed a syllabus at the entry based upon your level. When you learn something new, just tick it off your list. When you have finished ticking everything off your list, our instructors will dance with you and assess during the social dancing if you have completed the level. If you have, you will be handed the next levels syllabus and given much love. If not and our trainers think you might need some more time in that level, you will be given even MORE love and asked to practice for a little longer. OUR AIM: If done the right way, social dancing can be a LOT of fun! We want to create a safe, understanding and appreciative environment for everyone to come and enjoy the beauty of salsa music and dance, which has the strength to bind people. The structured social environment following the salsa lesson will serve as a great learning ground for those new to the concept of #socialdancing but are enthusiastic and open to learning. Even if you don’t want to become the world’s best salsa dancer, by the end of these classes we do promise to make you comfortable with yourself and new people while dancing. You will also make a ton of friends along the way and never be alone in a new city as salsa dancing is a part of every city in the world! So come socialise and dance with us while learning something new every Sunday! You don’t need to come with a dance partner. Session starts dot at the hour. Students will not be permitted mid session.
