Free Kids Salsa Class

Free Kids Salsa class. We have the amazing Camila Leal Rossi leading a class for children (5-13 years) introducing them to Latin Rhythms. Dance is a great physical and creative activity for kids of all ages. It helps develop spatial and physical awareness. It improves their rhythm and co-ordiantion, boosts their self-esteem and helps develop social skills. Originally from Uruguay, Camila has a strong background in the performing arts. She brings over 10 years of dance teaching experience and a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts. In 2016, Camila found her way to Latin dance and began training. Over the years, Camila has competed and performed for various teams, and run kids Salsa classes in Auckland for a number of years. This event is part of the Aotearoa Cuban Festival Community program. This event is proudly supported by NZ Cuban Festival Trust and Aotearoa Gaming Trust.
