COURSE DETAILS: We are looking for 8-9 couples of Higher Intermediate to Advanced level with experience of dancing Bachata, both in 'sensual' style and Dominican style. To make it smoother for the tryouts, we are asking dancers attending to COME WITH A PARTNER! If you have never performed in previous Caramelo teams, attendance for the tryout auditions is A MUST if you wish to be considered for the team(s). This helps the Director and choreographers when looking at such things as personality, ability, attitude, etc.! Also, it is the perfect place to ask the team any and all questions you might have about the performance team. This intensive training course and the choreography you will learn will help take your dancing to the next level, working on: - Clean Technique - Musicality and Body Movement - Stage Presence - Confidence - Fitness Levels - Intricate Footwork - Graceful Styling - Spinning While providing you with intensive training, this course will also offer you opportunities to perform at local and International Salsa festivals & congresses as part of the Caramelo student team. COMMITTMENT: The course will take place over a 12 sessions at Paddington Academy in the mirrored dance studios. Expect to arrange extra drilling sessions during the course before performances if needed.
