FREE SENSUAL BACHATA WORKSHOP

Hello Dancers!!! I've partnered up with Salsa On2 School to bring you a free Bachata Sensual Workshop. We want to give back to our community by helping you develop your skills as a dancer. If you want to improve as a Sensual Bachata Dancer, this is your opportunity! What are you going to learn: 1:30pm-2:30pm Musicality. Without Musicality, there is no connection! Musicality is the foundation for any partner dance. In this hour, I will teach you the 5 instruments used to create Bachata and what their individual roles are in a song. I will also teach you how to find the "1" in any song and how to differentiate the "1" from the "5". Lastly, I will teach you a little bit of the History & creation of this beautiful music we love called Bachata! 2:30pm-3:30pm Body Movement & Isolation. I will teach you the basic step for Bachata, how to connect with your partner & how to smooth-out your movements. I will teach you how to get rid of your tap!!! Lastly, I will teach you how to properly execute the "Sensual Close" position. This is the most intimate position in Sensual Bachata and it requires proper execution & skill.
