Free Sensual Bachata Workshop

San Antonio Dancers! Do you want to learn how to become a better Sensual Bachata Dancer? This is your opportunity to improve your skills at this free workshop sponsored by Esta Noche Studios & DJ Fnf. Our desire is to help San Antonio Dancers grow and develop their skills. What to expect: 1. First Hour: Musicality. Musicality & Timing is the foundation of partner dancing. Dancing on the same beat is the first step of connecting with your partner. In this class you will learn the structure of Bachata music and its different rhythms. You will also learn how to find the 1-beat and how to differentiate it from the 5-beat. We will also discuss syncopated beast 4-counts, breaks, and how to recognize them. We will also discuss all the instruments used in Bachata and their individual roles. 2. Second Hour: Body Movement In this hour, we will cover the basic step, how to update it and a few variations thereof. We will also learn how to execute the closest connection in Sensual Bachata: The Wedge. If time allows, we will cover body rolls and head rolls.
