FREE WCS Community Dance - Spooky Edition! 10 13 with DJ James Atwill

WHAT: WCS Community Dance - Spooky Edition! WHEN: Friday Oct 13th, 8:30 - 11:15pm WHERE: Dance Underground Studio A (340 15th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112) COST: FREE! PARKING: It's Cap Hill, allow time for street parking. PETS: Not allowed by the building, unless they are service animals. It's Friday the 13th - come to a Spooky Edition of the Community Dance! Costumes encouraged. The generosity of the community has allowed us to offer this dance for FREE! We're paying the DJ and the floor fee from the extra money from past Community Dances. There will be a special edition of the celebration jam to celebrate those with the best costumes! ABOUT THE COMMUNITY DANCE: This is an occasional (~every 2 months) Friday night WCS dance. The goal is to create community - I started it because I really just wanted to dance on Friday nights, but I also want to create a space where people can connect and feel a sense of belonging. I want this dance to belong to the Seattle community - if you have ideas, feedback, or want to help, message me anytime! It's nonprofit. Cost transparency: the floor fee is $175 and I pay the DJ $100. The sliding scale admission (for non-free dance nights) is to cover those costs. Anything we make beyond $275 is split 80/20 between making a future dance free and tipping the DJ. When we accumulate $275 in extra funds, the next dance will be free!
