Our ancestors celebrated the first harvest with sheaves of wheat, freshly baked loaves of bread, and gratitude for the seeds planted and tended through the summer. The beginning of harvest marked the beginning of hard work and dedication — every harvest necessary to the survival of family and community. We honor this tradition consciously. The horse was once the most sacred offering to Freyr. Today we recognize horses as our ancient allies — beings who carried humanity through the eons — and we celebrate stewardship over sacrifice. Runic horse cakes, imbued with healing energies, are shared in ceremony as a symbol of our duty to protect, honor, and cherish the animal kingdoms. Take time to thank Freyr. Explore and drop into the space by the fires 🔥, get face and body painting of Runes and benevolent magickal symbols, Scandinavian-style hair braiding, browse the magickal item vendors, food and elixirs. Freyfaxi Ritual — We will all gather in circle, give thanks, and meditate together, anchoring our own Divine Light, honoring our ancestors, and invoking the natural Light, Gods & Goddesses — concluded with a runic horse cake ceremony and Mead toast 🍻.
