Friday Night Dance at the Ephrata American Legion - with a "Festive Holiday Decorated Table"

December 12 – Friday (Possible upcoming dates for this dance 1/9, 2/13, 3/20, 4/17) Friday Night Dance at the American Legion ---> with a "Festive Holiday Decorated Table" with Cookies and Other Goodies to Share! 300 Cocalico St, Ephrata, PA 17522 > > > MUST READ -----> Due to people at other dances and events at this facility abusing the rules and laws, the American Legion now has to enforce a rule that NO DRINKS AND "DRINK CONTAINERS" CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE ESTABLISHMENT! The PA Liquor Control Board is requiring this! Apparently, people above and below the drinking age have been sneaking alcohol into events. What does this mean for you... DO NOT BRING INTO THE DANCE ANY DRINK OR WATER BOTTLES, CUPS, OR CONTAINERS. All the drinks that you have in your possession at the dance has to be obtained or purchased within this American Legion! If we see you bringing in drinks, bottles, and containers, we will need you to take it/them back to your vehicle. Please help us enforce this request from the American Legion and LCB so we can continue to have dances at this location! There will be access to water but need to farther ask management if we can lower the price of their bottled water or maybe I can supply water. I will hopefully soon get answers to update this post. Please check back! - - - Wear festive clothing whether its red, green, white, blue or something silly! - - - I swear I won't play too many Christmas and "wintery" songs! :-) :-) ---- Feel free to bring something to share on our snack table! ---- We plan to have some snacks for everyone to enjoy for the evening! ... This dance is customized to the crowd. I play a wide variety of music, from specific music for specific dances to some songs that will move people to various genres of dance, even line dancing. Since the music is adjusted to who shows up, there will always be a different lineup of songs from month to month. ... This dance is for singles AND couples. Everyone usually dances with everyone ... Large fully open all-wood dance floor! ... Attendees are allowed to order food and drinks from the restaurant and bar ... Plenty of parking ... Admission $12 ... Music by Keith Stremmel .... 6:45 pm – Doors Open .... 7 pm – Beginner Level Hustle Lesson .... 7:45 - 10:15 pm – Variety Dance Party! This dance will be a mix of Waltz, Foxtrot, WCS, ECS, Hustle, Rumba, Cha cha, Salsa, Country 2 Step, Nightclub 2 Step, and a few other genres.
