Friday Night Swing Out - Special Edition 21 November 2025!

Welcome to join us at Swedish Swing Society for a special edition of Friday Night Swing Out! It will still be a laid back lindy hop dance evening, as always - however, we will begin and end the EXTENDED EVENING with BLUES ! This evening is all about getting to know people, dancing and trying new things! It is also an evening veterans and rookies create together. There will be music. There will be coffee and cookies to purchase. There will be a cozy dance floor. Eat something, have a chat, try out some fancy steps at the dance floor. Meet people! We appreciate that you bring your own water bottle if you can! (Then there will be less cups for us to wash 🙂 ) SCHEDULE: 5.45 pm doors open 6.00 pm Workshop in ballroom blues with Adall 7.00 pm social lindy hop floor opens 7.15 cafe opens 10:00 pm Ballroom blues hour start 11:00 pm Blues hour Midnight - closing and cleaning up together WORKSHOP Do you feel lost when the music gets slow, and you can’t feel the swing rhythm anymore? Or do you just want to explore ways to move to more types of music? In any case, you are most welcome to join us at 18 for a beginner-friendly blues dance class with Adall! With a focus on ballroom blues, you’ll learn to glide effortlessly across the floor while embracing the blues rhythm. This will give you movements you can use to stay and enjoy the blues continuation of the evening, after 22. MUSIC The music this evening will be swing oriented and lindy-friendly. Having said so we give DJs room for adding a bit of spice (if they want to) with influences from latin swing, bebop, rhythm and blues and slow swing for instance - without leaving the core theme. In addition to that we will also have blues music in the end of the evening this time! This is also the evening where new aspiring DJs and prominent veterans make the dancefloor swing together.
