So, last week's FRIENDSHIP MIXER was a hit! So, you are asking for another, so here we go! Knoxville, this is our second hosted Friendship Mixer—and it’s built for real connection (not awkward small talk). How it works: • Meaningful Mixers: Light, guided conversation rounds so you’ll actually meet people (no pressure, all fun). • Pre-Register with event link to be added to the pool of potential participants. Be sure to watch the 15 minute video where Waldo y Jacqui discuss the purpose of these friendship mixers and how they are designed to work- Keep in mind....sign up does not equal an RSVP. You will be contacted if there is space for a particular Friday event. • If you are called to confirm a date/spot, it's super important that you attend on your date, as these events are curated to have equal men/women numbers. While not a "speed dating" event, it is still important to have everyone who confirms actually attend. •On your confirmed date, please arrive no later than: 7:55p at Loco Burro Rooftop (online pre-registration required- registration does NOT mean this is an RSVP. The registration is simply to put you in a pool of people for a waitlist. When a Friday spot becomes available, Jacqui y Waldo Solano, the hosts, will text you and confirm with you the date for your spot • Afterwards, from 9:30-10pm, go downstairs to take Beginner Salsa & Bachata Lessons with Salsa Knoxville: Learn the basics—zero experience required. • Salsa Party: Stay for the social! Rotate partners, dance to great Latin music, and keep the conversations going. What to expect: -Friendly hosts who make intros easy (Waldo y Jacqui) -No partner or experience needed (we rotate) -Come solo- everyone’s welcome and we rotate -A vibe where friendships happen first (and who knows from there) Details 📍 Location and Date: Invite Only! In order to receive details about upcoming mixer events, you must sign in with your info to our mixer database in advance. We will contact you when an opening becomes available. At which point, you can confirm your date. This is not a show up type of event. -We will contact you with specific Date availabilities. -Mixers will be FRIDAYS at 8:00 PM at Loco Burro Knoxville rooftop bar, but these are not a pay at the door events.
