S'il se dansait à une époque sur du zouk antillais, il a bien évolué depuis et se pratique aujourd'hui sur tous styles de musique (RnB, pop, kizomba, reggaeton, electro, accoustique...). C'est une danse créative, sensuelle, fluide et aérienne qui joue beaucoup avec les mouvements de buste, de tête et les ondulations du corps.
