Ask & respect a "no”. - Everyone can invite each other (non-)verbally to dance a(nother) song. - Check in with your dance partner: do you want to lead, follow or switch roles? - Ask if your partner is comfortable with a close embrace, with lifts or dips. - Does a dance feel uncomfortable? Be creative: how can I make it a pleasant/inspiring experience? Express your needs and boundaries. At any time you can end a dance. - If someone felt uncomfortable in the interaction with you, listen attentively, give apologies if needed & learn from the experience.
