Fusion Dance Gent Bluesy Edition

Bring your folkie funk, connect through contact impro, throw in a tango touch, spice it with salsa, give it a hop & there we go! No (partner) dance experience or partner needed! Each party is introduced with a class, with focus on all levels of dancers. 𝟮𝟱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴) 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 Explore the blues pulse and grounded, relaxed ways of dancing to different styles of blues, with a focus on slower music. We'll experiment with partner connections, including closed hold and close embrace, and explore how to move beyond traditional blues into smoother, more flowing fusion. With over 15 years exploring partner dancing, Paul brings a broad movement vocabulary to his dancing. His approach combines playfulness, musicality and mindful connection, drawing on influences from Blues, Lindy Hop, Tango, Contact Improvisation, and various latin dances along with being a musician.
