Let's dance Fusion! Fusion is the melting pot where partner dances such as blues, tango, zouk and bachata meet contact improvisation and solo dance. Fusion is not a style of music or dance, it is when you take the dance skills that you already have, outside of the culture and rule systems where you usually use them, to combine them with dance partners from other styles. Let's mix music and create new dance styles in the moment. Every new song and every new dance partner becomes something new. ___ We start with two intro classes First Emma is bringing: A soft start sensing, centering, connecting. with the intention of letting you settle in your own body before building the improvised dialog that becomes the duo dance. Then Lova will make you reflect on lead and follow: We have no rules, but it is rewarding to build up a toolbox of how you can lead and follow. Let's test some ideas.
