CLASSES AT REGULAR PRACTICAS AND MILONGAS: Monday 25 8:00-9:15 PM Guest teacher at MILONGA ZANDUNGA! Dancing vs repeating sequences: training our interpretation Tuesday 26 7.30-8.30 PM Guest Teacher at TUESDAY TANGO TRAINING The illusion becomes real: understanding how to create and perform Sacadas for both roles Thursday 28 7-8 PM Happy Hour at TANGO BAR at CHACHO’S Committing oneself to a responsible connection: how do we go to the embrace? How can we create it together and how do we go to that contact fully present and respecting each other? Friday 29 7:30-9 PM Pre-milonga lesson at GW Tango Club Milonga Finding FREEDOM in every EMBRACE . Training our balance and axis awareness to be responsible for our own bodies . Fully sharing in the embrace but without compromising our comfort and axis . 100% engaged in the embrace and a 100% responsible and in charge of my body and movement SPECIAL WORKSHOPS AT GW UNIVERSITY* Saturday 11 am -12.30 pm The use of the UPPER BODY & the LOWER BODY in tango language . Different results of moving the embrace through the space vs on the spot . Locking & Unlocking internal spaces in the embrace: ochos and hips rebounds . Upper body rotations vs lower body rotations 1 - 2.30 pm The issue of the FREE LEG! .The in-between line of it being free but alive to dance! .Investigating the dynamics for playing with it consciously .Applying in ganchos / boleos Sunday 1- 3 pm The ART of DANCING together: an investigation of what LEADING and FOLLOWING means for each of us .While leading: . Delivering the message . A conscious and responsible contact: how to engage in the embrace to transmit the proposal . Where and how is the lead being interpreted? . Repeating sequences vs dancing While following: . A conscious and responsible contact: how to engage in the embrace to transform the proposal into motion . “Just Following” vs “Dancing”: how to add our interpretation . Differences between changing the proposal and interpreting it .
