GAIA MA: A Celebration of the Earth with Song, Prayer & Ecstatic Dance

Join us for a wondrous celebration of the Earth through sacred song, prayer, ecstatic dance and closing sound journey! It's time to unite! We warmly invite you to an afternoon of sacred song, ecstatic dance, prayer and healing sound to celebrate Mother Earth. Circled by a Grove of Oak Trees tucked away on the cliffs of 5 Kingsbury Cres with a spectacular panoramic lake view, this will be a very special event of soulful coming together in honour and revelry. Let us take you on a journey of elemental activation, starting at the sacred fire with Waaban-anangokwe(Morning Star woman) and the Rose and Hive Temple Grove Sisters. Their offering of pipe prayers and potent warrior drumming and singing for your blood and bones while we each dip our hands into the bowl of medicines to make heart offerings and prayers to the fire. Cedar tea and strawberry water will be served. We will then be guided on an elemental embodiment ecstatic dance, DJ'd and facilitated by DJ Druid (Darren Austin Hall). Moving from the feeling flows of Water, into the rhythms of Earth, the passionate peak of Fire, the heavenly melodies of Air and the closing ambience of Ether. We will then ground back into ourselves as Darren shares one of his legendary Sound Journeys featuring Crystal Bowls, channeled singing and special guests. Bring your own litter less snacks and water bottle and a cup to drink from for cedar tea and strawberry water.
