Svenska Rytmsektionen / Rhythm Collective Sweden is organizing a weekend festival with some of the finest tap & swing dancers in the country and there will be classes, jams, hang and a show! Celebrating the 125th anniversary of the birth of pianist/composer/band leader Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington, one of the most prominent jazz musicians ever lived. WEEKEND OVERVIEW (detailed schedule on website) Friday night: theme classes, "Rockin' in Rhythm", jam & hang Saturday night: theme class, Tap Talk, Student Show, jam, competitions! Saturday & Sunday: workshops for Beginner, Improver, Intermediate, Advanced. Each group has 2 classes/day PRICING & REGISTRATION Full package: 1700 SEK (full time student 1300 SEK) Special offer for kids/youth up to 19 years old: 500 SEK.
