August 27th 6:00-9:30 PM W/ Geovante David Ezekiel Brooks, stage-named Geovante, is a producer, lyricist, and DJ. He is a founding member of the Salt Lake City artist collective, the Jaguar Occult, and a direct descendent of both Egyptian and Aztec Royalty. (Ramesses III and Montezuma) He has found his home playing and mixing an assortment of styles of dance music ranging from Global Bass, Bass House, Latin Tech House, Afro Tech House, Amapiano and GQOM. He has coined his style as Afro Aztec Disco. Lore: Geovante is the all-encompassing entity that this simulation is part of. Our universe is simply one of many cells within Geovante’s body. Geovante communicates with all humanity through dream states and has chosen David Ezekiel as this universe’s simulation manager to help bring upon the conscious revolution starting with each individual on the dance floor. “Geo” means earth and “vante” meaning watcher, Geovante has observed humanity’s wide array of sounds since the dawn of sound and helps David Ezekiel manifest the best frequencies possible! ✦•··········•✦•············•✦ Schedule: 6pm: Yoga w/ DeAnna Jo Sunshine 7pm: Opening circle 7:10pm: Ecstatic Dance w/ Geovante 9:15pm: Closing Circle ✦•··········•✦•············•✦ Cost: $20 Movement/Yoga: Included with the cost, or $10 for just the Movement/Yoga class Dance Tokens available for as little as $15 per event We also offer Childcare for free! It’s important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
