GET YOUR CRITIQUE ON!

Hey Westies! We are super excited about our upcoming critique session! We have done 2 so far and they have been amazing! IMPORTANT UPDATE... We are now going to run it as a critique session where you can pick your own partner, preferably someone close to your level and each dancer will be given verbal feedback right there on the spot and that way the entire group can hear that feedback, which is super beneficial because, as we know, most of us have similar issues in our dancing. We will have two couples dancing at the same time and will be finalizing the details of how all this will work shortly, which means the schedule has also changed. AND THIS IS NOW OPEN TO NON COMPETITORS AS WELL! The critique session will now be from 5 to 7 at the studio. We are limiting this to 15 couples, so if you have already registered with me, please check back in and let's arrange who you would like to dance with. Or if you prefer we will randomly set you up to dance with someone around your same level and you won't know til you are called up to dance (true Jack & Jill style) You can sign up to dance in either role! The 10 for 10 will be in the small ballroom during the evening dance. Those that participate in the critique get first dibs to sign up for the 10 for 10's right after the critique session. I will keep the volume lower in the small ballroom with the music so that it's easier to communicate. The first one would start at 8:40 since we need a little transition time after the regular evening workshop, then after the evening workshop at my dance if there are any 10 for 10 slots left, I am opening it up to the entire public. SWINGOVER is just around the corner, so this will give you a chance get ready to hit the competition floor or upgrade your social dancing skills! We will have Lecie Langille, the event director for SWINGOVER, joining us for the 10 for 10's and she is teaching the workshop before the evening dance! COST $20 for the Critique Session $10 for 10 minutes- Paid in CASH WITH CORRECT CHANGE directly to the pros. Since there are limited spots for 10 for 10 you will be allowed to sign up for 2 at first right after the critique session and then if there is space available after that you can add more;) HOW TO SIGN UP- Limited spaces available, so first come first serve.
