Giro Vs. Calesita ~ at Bienvenida Milonga

Simply put, in a giro (turn), the follower dances around the leader in a circle. In a calesita (merry-go-round), the leader dances around the follower in a circle. We'll improvise with both of these simple – but infinite – structures, finding some surprising links and segues one to the other. Each one requires technical skills especially for the dancer orbiting, and offers an occasion for beautiful luxurious footwork for the dancer in the center... as we shall see!
