Glad Hatters LIVE at Sunday Swing!

We are so GLAD to welcome back the Glad Hatters Band to the Stage! This wonderful band we recently welcomed has been a big hit! Known for playing traditional swing jazz favorites, their wonderful sound brings all the dancers out on the floor! Big'z Burger Joint UTSA is our NEW location, plenty of free parking and space to dance! Attendees are welcome to walk thru the main entrance and walk thru the dining area, or use the side entrance pathway to our private dance room, look out for signage for where to go! Fiesta is in full SWING, so wear your festive gear to keep the San Antonio spirit swinging on the dance floor! Dance lessons are still included in ticket price, but please be aware of our updated prices and times, see below. 🕺 APRIL DANCE LESSONS: 6-7pm INTRO TO SWING 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Andrea 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement. FOUNDATIONS EXPANDED 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Nick & Sheri 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Continue your east coast swing journey past the introductory level, adding to what has already been learned in our beginners class. Class will focus on the next level of 6 count steps to confidently add to your partnered social dancing. LINDYHOP 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Thomas & Emma 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Once you have a firm understanding of the basics, begin to learn this more advanced 8-count dance and the famous swing-out! Lindy can be danced to slow or fast music, often blending several styling including 6-count and Charleston. NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule.
