Glasgow Level 1 Boot Camp

Hola Lovely Peeps, We are excited to run our Level 1 Bootcamp in Glasgow again. Level 2 is gonna come next and level 2b is being prepared so bear with us :-) Level 1 is for anybody who would like to learn more about kizomba and UrbanKiz in particular. It is based on our journey and targets everything from basics, like posture, through combos with variations to musicality. The whole course will take place in a professional studio with mirrors. If you are interested, get in touch. We are planning to have a small bunch (6 girls and 6 guys) for better focus and more personalised touch, therefore it is very much first come, first serve basis. Gosia & Shiv ***The event will run if we get a sufficient number of attendees*** ***Overview*** A comprehensive camp in a studio environment for detailed and structured learning. 2 sessions of 4 hours each **Session 1, Saturday, 30 Mar, 12pm - 4pm** Body posture, frame and balance Difference between kizomba and UrbanKiz connection Introduction to music Basic steps with variations Structure of music Difference between kizomba and UrbanKiz music and dance Leading and following technique Basic combos 1 & 2 **Session 2, Sunday, 31 Mar, 9am - 1pm** Acceleration Basic combos 3 & 4 Intermediate combos 1 & 2 Musicality: music variations and different instruments Tips to grow your knowledge on your own Styling, Simple lifts and tricks Intermediate combos 3 & 4 More advanced steps with variations **Cost ** £65 per person for 8 hours £55 per person if you book as a couple £55 for students (upon presenting ID) **Booking** First come, first serve basis - confirmed upon payment Bookings are transferable - if you can't make it but you can find a replacement, same gender/role up to a week before the class, we will refund the money once your friend has paid.
