THE GLOBAL UNDERSCORE - dancing the underscore simultaneously around the globe. We are resisted for Sydney to participate in the GLOBAL UNDERSCORE in sync with the Northern Hemisphere. WHEN: 22th-23rd JUNE TIME: 11pm - 2am WHERE: Annandale Creative Arts Centre COST: $10 Please note as the practice is held at out of the ordinary time, those attending will need to me mindful of the residents in close proximity to ACAC. Best get some jams and classes under your belt first. The Underscore is basically a structured CI jam that follows a set of phases, each with a symbol. Participants commit to the entire event, which often leads to a deeper, more cohesive, playful practice. The Global Underscore (GUS) centres around a yearly event in which the Underscore is practiced simultaneously for a 4-hour period by people all over the world near the winter solstice.
