GoFundme - 111 Silent Disco Headsets Manifestation Project

My name is Jesse Buck and I am dedicated to offering safe, substance-free spaces for celebration, connection, presence, movement & community to flourish. I am a Community Visionary, Teacher, DJ, MC, Cacao enthusiast & Sound Healer from Toronto who believes that Community is ESSENTIAL! I am the founder & co-founder of multiple dance communities in Toronto that have been running since 2017, and most known for the Chocolate Groove (an Ecstatic Dance with Cacao). Since March 16th 2020 we have been unable to gather together & dance like we did. Toronto has been in lockdown since then and as things begin to re-open this summer I have an idea that could allow us to honour all government regulations, social distancing and allow us to dance in unity once again! What is the project? All over the world dance communities have found a way to bring dance events back safely through the use of comfortable, high-quality silent Disco Headsets. I believe with an investment into “111 Silent Disco Headphones” we can turn any big open space into a dance floor & safely bring dance events back to Toronto from now on. With these headphones I will be offering legal dance gatherings to support the dance community, renting them out to other dance communities and giving us an opportunity to groove together again! I have also personally spoken to the Toronto permit office, the Toronto police department and they feel it is a good idea. The conversations are ongoing to get a permit to run these dances outside! How can you help? My intention is to request support to invest into Silent Disco Headphones, transmitters, and all chargers required to bring the dance back to Toronto. With import duty, taxes, shipping and the gofundme fees, the cost will come to around $5000 cad. I have personally already sent in the $2000 deposit for the high-quality headsets and need to send the remaining $3000 before the products are shipped Aug 1st.
