Golden Tango Weekend - October 3rd-5th 2025

Immerse yourself in the spirit of tango this autumn with inspiring dance lessons, elegant evening milongas, thought-provoking lectures, and a special film exploring the rich history and music of tango. As the scent of apples fills the air and stars fall from the crisp evening sky, experience a season of warmth, connection, and culture. Registration opens on July 25th, 2025. We will post a link in event and will add the information to the event description. What to expect? - 7 lessons with Slava Ivanov (Slovenia), who regularly comes to Tallinn with his ideas of musicality and quality movement for social dancing - lecture about tango music and culture (free entrance) - 3 evening milongas with DJ, fruits, drinks and snacks. You can register in couple or as a single leader/follower. Also you can buy tickets at the entrance to any milonga. A lesson about dynamics and the character of movement. SUNDAY, October 5th 13.30 - 14.45 - WS 5 - Exploring Turns - part 1. Circularity. How to create the rotation of the couple. Analysis of the question, research for pleasant solutions. 15.00 - 16.15 - WS 6 - Exploring Turns - part 2 16.30 - 17.45 - WS 7 - Accompaniment - "Leading" the follower’s free leg when the leader uses only the torso (without taking steps).
