Gotham Soul - with John Festa

We can't wait to see you for the first Gotham Soul west coast swing dance of the season. Whether you are a new dancer or have been swinging for years, it promises to be a great night out. This month's Teacher and DJ will be, living legend of swing, Mr. John Festa (like for real, he got a p. His lessons and technique are iconic and WSDC events have literal rooms dedicated to his music. We have our beginners covered too. Members of the Gotham Board will be on hand for a beginner lesson for those who would prefer it. Lessons start at 8:00-8:30. It’s free with entry to the dance. Social dancing starts at 8:30PM. We look forward to seeing all of you there! Location: Little Dreams - 412 8th Avenue, 4th Fl, NYC (To enter the building, press 1913* on the lower keypad) Time: 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Lesson at 8:00, social at 8:30) Admission: $15 for members / $20 for non-members Instructor: Intermediate (John Festa)/ Beginner (Gotham Board) DJ: John Festa Gotham has revised its attendance policies. Starting with our October 8, 2022 dance and workshops: Masks will not be required. However, we support and encourage anyone who wishes to wear a mask and we ask that everyone be respectful of any dancer choosing to wear a mask. If you are not feeling well or have any flu or COVID symptoms, please practice common sense and stay home for your safety and the safety of our dance community. Gotham will be reviewing these policies regularly and reserves the right to reinstate the vaccination requirement and/or to require proof of an updated booster or masking in the future.
