The session begins with a dynamic warm-up designed to activate and prepare the body, diving into a series of combos and exercises to learn acrobatic tricks and floorwork routines and discover how to integrate them fluidly into movement. There will be opportunities to experiment with collaborative improvisation, inspired by cypher methodology, which will encourage connection and exploration with each other in space. The final part of the workshop focuses on choreography, using and exploring the elements learned throughout the session. Participants will come together to create and perform a dynamic and engaging routine, culminating in a shared celebration of creativity and movement. Designed to inspire artists interested in both urban-contemporary dance and acrobatics, this workshop is an exciting opportunity to explore the intersection of these disciplines in a supportive and high-energy environment.
