Join us on Saturday, January 10th at Best of Ballroom in Winston Salem for an exciting night of Shag and West Coast Swing Workshops with Scott Campbell.  Private Lesson Availability  Scott are is available for private lessons! Whether you’re working on your technique, musicality, or just want personalized feedback — this is your chance to level up. Saturday, January 10th Schedule: 6:30 PM - Doors open for registration, mingle and a little bit of social dancing before workshops. 7:30–8:00 PM — Beginner West Coast Swing Learn the basics of West Coast Swing or refresh your foundation. Scott will cover essential rhythms, basic footwork patterns, timing, and simple lead/follow connection so you’ll leave with moves you can use right away on the social floor. Perfect if you’re brand-new or want to tidy up your fundamentals. No partner required. 8:00–9:00 PM — Shag Footwork for West Coast Swing Dancers This hands-on session focuses on Shag-style footwork and how to incorporate shag rhythms and styling into your West Coast Swing. Scott will teach clear foot patterns, weight changes, and musical phrasing, plus practical drills to help you blend shag flavor into partner turns and social dancing. Leaders and followers both benefit. 9 pm - 12 am - Social Dance your heart out to West Coast Swing, Shag and more with music by DJ, All-Star Dancer and Instructor Anthony DeRosa Cost: Workshop 1 - $15 Workshop 2 plus Social Dance - $15 Workshop 1 & Workshop 2 plus Social dance - $25 Dance only - $15 Greensboro Westies accepts Cash, Venmo or Zelle.
