Grit City Groove Fall Performance Team Auditions

Grit City Groove is T-Town Swing's audition-only performance team! We are holding auditions on September 15th from 8-9:30pm at Avelon Ballroom (2315 6th Ave, Tacoma). Auditions are open to anyone! The format will feel a bit like a free dance workshop. You'll be learning a bit of Lindy Hop choreography alongside the current team members and other auditioners; applicants will be selected based on skill level, balance of follows/leads, team needs, and schedule availability. Auditioning as a partnership is highly recommended. Depending on the ratio of follows to leads, dancers without a partner may still be considered for the team. Team meets every Tuesday from 8-9:30pm at Avelon Ballroom, and performance dates are TBD. Dues are $120/month, and some scholarship funds are available if that is a hardship for you—inquire at [email protected]
