Guest Instructor Brian Lawton: Workshops + Social Dance

Let's give an enthusiastic welcome to guest instructor Brian Lawton! Brian will be offering two (2) special workshops ahead of our upcoming monthly social dance on Saturday, April 18 at The Dance Conservatory! 3:30-5pm Workshop A: Intermediate/Advanced Lindy Hop Designed for dancers who have been attending classes and social dances consistently. You’re comfortable with swingouts and Charleston basics, and ready to challenge yourself with more complex rhythms, variations, and musical ideas. 5:30-7pm Workshop B: Open Level Lindy Hop Accessible to a wide range of dancers. Whether you know some 6-count and 8-count basics and want to keep building, or you’re looking to add more texture, style, and connection to your dancing, this workshop will meet you where you are and help you grow. 7-10pm Social Dance: Light refreshments included for the social dance. If you would like to bring something to share, gluten free vegan food is encouraged but not required. We will also continue with our clothing & shoe swap each month. New Offering: Beginner Crash Course with SRDC in the back studio around 7:30ish See you on the dance floor! Pricing: Single Workshop only - $35 Single Workshop plus Social Dance - $45 Both Workshops - $60 Both Workshops plus Social Dance - $70 Social Dance only - $15 Options to bundle and save on the dance and the workshops end the day before the event. Day-of drop-ins will be door price: cash or Venmo only. Door price is $35 per workshop and $20 for the social dance.
