Hello friends, April 9th ~ Halina's Celebration of Life Public ~ EVERYONE is invited! 6-7 Pot Luck Diner 7-8 Remembrance 8-11 Dancing to Tangozo, tango, waltzes, swing The Avalon Ballroom ~ 6185 Arapahoe Rd. Boulder Halina was instrumental in our tango community for over 25 years. I met her in the late 90's and from the very first day she was overflowing with joy. Later she bought an empty warehouse in Boulder, rebuilt it as a ballroom and called it The Avalon. The Avalon became the home base of tango and many other dance communities in Boulder. If you knew her, or love tango in Colorado, come join us on the 9th! It is a free event to celebrate her life and join the different dance communities together. There will be food, a memorial, and a cross community dance where Tangozo will play live music.
