Halloween Bash at The 9:20 Special

Halloween is on a Thursday this year. So, obviously, we're throwing a party!!!! You bring the Halloween spirit...we'll provide the decor, music, costume contest, snacks, and perhaps some other Halloween-inspired shenanigans. TAKE NOTE: October 31st is the 5th Thursday of the month which means we're doing something special for classes! Weeks 1-4 will be our normal October class series. But on the 5th Thursday (Halloween) we'll be offering all-levels drop-in classes! Here are the class details: 🎃 That’s right folks. Our Halloween Bash isn’t only filled with fun times at the dance party but pre-party we have some chilling classes lined up for you! 👻 All of them are All Levels and all of them are open for drop-in. 🎃 Registration is open! Go to 920special.com > Register > Special Classes. 🙌 7:20PM and 8:30PM - two of the same class 👻Spooky Solo Jazz with Sean Krazit All levels! Sean is infamous in the Lindy Hop world for his wonderful and unique solo movement. In this class, you'll get to experience all the wonderful and uniqueness of Sean's movement and instruction while exploring some strange, striking, and seasonal solo movement. How can we make our Shorty Georges creepy? How can we dance like a vampire? Like Dr. Frankenstein? Join us for some Halloween experimentation. The *same* class will be offered both hours. 7:20PM and 8:30PM - two *different* classes! Sneaky Steals A and B with Samantha Nguyen and Calvin Lu All levels! As long as you've taken at least one month of beginner Lindy Hop. 🤫 Every week at the 9:20 Special, there's a celebration jam where folks get to swap partners in the middle of the song. In the class, we'll learn cool ways to jump into a dance, whether you're stealing in as a leader or a follower. This class will focus on different variations during the two time slots, 7:20 and 8:30. 🎉 ‼️8:30pm ONLY‼️ 🎉 Thriller Intensive with Thomas Mittiga 🧟‍♂️ Has Michael Jackson's Thriller ever summoned a specter of intrigue in you? Have you wanted to reanimate your old zombie "roars?" Then try out this hour-long Thriller intensive. We'll cover the fundamentals you need to march in our zombie horde at The 9:20's Halloween Bash performance later that night.
