Where can you go to the beach in 75 degree weather in October?? Redondo Beach, CA!!! Thursday Beach Party for Halloween Swingthing! Tatiana Mollmann, Jordan Frisbee, and John Wheaton , and Demetre (cause I have the tents and volleyballs ...and they're busy making sure SwingThing is going to be off the hook this year!) .... invite you to Redondo Beach on Thursday, October 29th! Come join us for 2 miles from the event hotel (Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach) on Redondo Beach for a day of beach time chill, music, swimming, frisbee, and volleyball (we'll have volleyballs with us... though not sure the nets will be up that late in the season) With people coming in from all over the world and country, we figured we'd take advantage of being only 2 miles from the beach and show the early comers a California good time! I'll have pop up tents for those who don't want to be in the sun all day. Bring blankets, towels, umbrellas, sports gear, surf boards, and snacks! The plan is to hit the beach just south of the Redondo Beach Pier from 3pm till sunset then head over to the hotel and hit Ben Morris' workshop @ 8pm! Parking: There is beach front parking on the beach side of Vetrans Park (just South of the pier) or parking near the pier at the Pier Parking Structure located at: 100 W. Torrance Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA 90277 Pay per space, first hour is $0.50 then I believe $1.50 after that per hour. Walk towards the pier and look South (left) for white square tall pop-up tents. Walking: If you're walking from the hotel, just walk West on Torrance Blvd 2.5 miles and look for us on the South side of the pier. We'll have white square tall pop-up tents. Bad Weather Back-Up Plan: In the unlikely event of rain we'll be forced to enjoy ourselves at a beachfront bar on the pier.
