Probably the most famous celebration of the Celtic year, Halloween (also known as Samhain) was originally brought to America by European settlers. This "Turning of the Wheel of the Year" marks yet another shift in Nature's seasonal calendar. It is said that on this day, the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is especially thin, allowing us to communicate with other realms. This is celebrated in various ways across cultures, e.g. the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration. Our last Ceremony marked the midpoint of the transition from light and dark. It was an enchanting evening that completely sold out! This go around we welcome in the dark half of the year, and celebrate the final harvest.
