Happy Birthday Frankie - Global Lindy Hop Day Celebration!

Every year on May 26, the Lindy Hop world celebrates Frankie Manning's birthday and this year is no different. The Frankie Manning Foundation are hosting a global Shim Sham Relay in honour of Frankie's Birthday, where dancers around the world will Shim Sham at 8pm in their time zone :D Here at The Swing Project, we want to celebrate the joy Frankie brought to the world of Lindy and remind ourselves that even in these difficult times, we are all connected in our global swing community. 👉So what's happening? We're hosting a Frankie Manning Birthday Party on May 26 on Zoom - dress up if you like and most importantly, put on those dancing shoes :) We'll be DJing "Frankie Favourites" along with other feel good Lindy tunes 7.30 - 9pm for you to enjoy, dance along to or just kick back and listen with a glass of wine.
