HARVARD TANGO FALL WORKSHOPS! w/Tina Yeung & Thomas Patrick Saturday, November 9 12:30-1pm: registration & warm-up 1-2:15pm workshop 1: syncopation in tango: D'Arienzo & Tanturi 2:30-3:45pm workshop 2: rhythm & turns in tango vals 4-5:15pm workshop 3: playful musicality in milonga 5:30-8:30pm: práctica Join us for these special fall workshops at Harvard, where we'll be waiting for you in a striking rehearsal room with a gorgeous hardwood floor in one of the university's most beautiful buildings. We look forward to an afternoon of in-depth learning with new material and firsthand knowledge direct from Buenos Aires--on tango, vals, & milonga!--followed by an early-evening práctica to try out your new steps. Directions: 12 Holyoke St in Cambridge, just a block from the Harvard Square T stop. Go up the stairs, walk into the main entrance, up another flight of stairs, and there you'll find room 203.
