Haunted Ecstatic Forest

Join us for a special spooky Halloween dance! This night will be full of creativity and self expression, so bring your wacky wild self and be prepared to let loose and make friends from all different dimensions. 5pm: Meet in front of the Stone Barn & go for a short hike up a gravel road to the Ecstatic Forest. Arriving after 5:30pm? Directions and a map will be posted in the discussion! 5-6:30PM: Costume and Decoration Collaborations! We will be providing cardboard and paint and other materials so we can decorate together as a community! *BYO: -Face Paint -Extra costume pieces to decorate your friends and the non-human creatures we'll be creating together. -Potluck style Halloween Decorations from home -Food (it's gonna be a long night of dancing!) 6:30pm Opening Circle PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME FOR OPENING CIRCLE. 6:45pm-10pm: Guided warm-up into 3 hours of dancing to a playlist curated by Jackie Ryan & Amy Dubenetsky. A creative expression station with canvas & paints for playful musings will be hosted by Sarah Sage. Andrew Prue brings his incredible drumming talent, instruments to share, and a beautiful sound meditation at the end. No prior dance experience is necessary; Come as you are! WE WILL HAVE A FIRE at this gathering to keep us warm & dancing into the night. We will have a designated fire tender. Please use caution especially with children present and do not feed the fire. *We have a 35 person limit: PLEASE SECURE YOUR SPACE AHEAD OF TIME BY PURCHASING A TICKET VIA PAYPAL/VENMO* ::What to Bring:: *Layered clothing *Flashlight *A full water bottle (we will have a water refill station) *Snacks *Halloween decorations (optional) *Warm, comfortable shoes to dance in. This is a sober event. While we typically go barefoot at Ecstatic Dances, we recommend bringing comfortable shoes that you could dance in if you are not used to being barefoot in the woods.
