Get ready for a weekend of non-stop swing dancing, live music, and top-tier workshops at Heartland SwingOut! SCHEDULE: Friday Night @ Des Moines Ballroom: Start the weekend with a beginner lesson (7:15-8pm) followed by a live band social dance (8-11pm) with the Junction Jazz Society! Saturday @ Chandelier DSM: Enjoy a day full of lessons from top Midwest instructors (9am-4pm), followed by live music from NOLA Jazz Band at the social dance and a Mix-n-Match competition to cap off the night (8-11pm)! We have two tracks available for lessons! • Level 1 Track: Ideal for those new to swing dancing or looking to refresh their basics, this track will give you the foundation to confidently hit the dance floor. • Level 2 Track: For experienced dancers looking to challenge themselves, this track offers more complex moves and techniques to take your dancing to the next level. PRICING: Level 1 Early Bird Full Pass: $50 (ends May 31st) Level 2 Early Bird Full Pass: $75 (ends May 31st) Level 1 Full Pass: $60 (starts June 1st) Level 2 Full Pass: $90 (starts June 1st) Dance passes and add-ons available during registration. Volunteer spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first serve basis. HOUSING: DSM Local: sign-up to host a traveling dancer with the form on our website. Traveling: sign-up for a local host with the form on our website. Housing requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We will do our best to match you with a local host for the weekend, however housing requests are not guaranteed. Please note that all event registrations are final and must be completed via EventBrite. Prices listed do not include taxes or fees. Day-of tickets sold at the door are subject to availability and venue capacity.
