Dorothy’s Shoes presents The 1969 Ragroof Tea Dance at Bloomsbury Festival on Sunday 20 October, 3 till 6pm Tickets £12/ £10 (with some at £6 for Bloomsbury residents - contact the festival to enquire about those) NB please book at www.bloomsburyfestival.org.uk - not via the hotel We are delighted to be presenting a very special tea dance in this glorious ballroom in Russell Square in the heart of London, the closing event of the Bloomsbury Festival 2019. Marking the anniversary of moon landing, we’ll bring you moon-themed tunes (from Moon River and Paper Moon - not to mention Fly Me to the Moon!) and will whisk you through the 1960s, with all your traditional tea dance favourite rhythms (waltz, foxtrot, tango, jive) merging into a medley of 60s party dance faves, from the Twist and the Maddison, the Locomotion, and more... Feel free to dress in your favourite 1960s Space Age outfits (but you don’t have to, of course - anything goes). Ticket price includes a crafty tipple of gin! Tea and cakes available to purchase.
