About this Event
Do you ever wonder where some of our movements originate from? Do you want to gain a better appreciation for the culture of Latin dances? Do you want to improve your social dancing?
Y’all! Anara Frank, one of my mentors in dance, is here in Boston!
We will be combining our skills to bring you a workshop designed to incorporate dance technique, culture, and history in our social dancing.

Schedule:
9pm-11pm: History, culture, and movement in bachata and salsa

Level: Adv Beg to Professional
We’re going back to the roots! We will look at how dances in Cuba, the Dominican Republic and New York City in the 18 & 1900s still play an important role in how we dance today. We will play with movement and musicality, while we learn how the different styles came to be, and how incorporating those styles can add incredible flavor and flow to our social dancing today, regardless of our style(s) of choice.
