SALSA - Music & Dance from Cuba BACHATA - Music & Dance from The Dominican Republic KIZOMBA - Music & Dance from Angola Each of the styles of music have something gorgeous to offer If you know how to dance Salsa, Bachata &/or Kizomba then ofcourse this must be your goto destination - but if you dont, then come for the music Treat is as a night to be able to enjoy music that is not the usual that you hear when you head over to a club or the radio or wedding. With travel we widen our experience and vision but with music we do the same and has an equal impact. Like how Bollywood music is an essential part of our culture A lot of tourists wanna come to India because of the music we have to offer - it paints the colorful picture, smiley faces and the positive vibe! Similarly Latin American and Angolan cultural music will make you happy and give you an excitement to learn more about their culture and maybe even motivate you to travel over. Whats the program of the evening: Venue: Effingut, Park Street Date: 15th June, Thursday Time: 730pm Complimentary workshop: MERENGUE (A Dance and Music style from the Dominican Republic) - This workshop is to give you a little insight into the Dance - You will learn a few basics= steps and during the course of the evening when Salsawala plays some MERENGUE music you can get up and have a dance or two with each other :) Post the workshop - The dance floor is open! Expect some beautiful music from different parts of Latin America and Angola & The French Caribbean - Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba! Entry: Complimentary Open to all.
