Holiday Swing Dance, Lessons, Social, Band, Calling All Swing Toronto Students!

Swing Toronto presents a Holiday Swing Dance Social with 4 beginner friendly dance lessons, great DJs, and the Reply All Swing Band! 6:30pm to 10:30pm This is especially for Swing Toronto students who took a course or workshop with us this year. Everyone else is also very much welcome and invited. No prior experience is needed, absolute beginners are welcome, there is no need to bring your own dance partners. Yule/Holiday/Grinch themed attire is encouraged but optional Teachers: Catherine Carriere, David Greig, Simon Threlkeld Band (for one set): Reply All Swing Band led by Leon Yao! DJs: Aleksandr Valuiskikh & Brady Lang FOUR 30 MINUTE "TASTER" CLASSES 6:30pm to 8:30pm Try something new, practice what you already know, try the other role, bring a friend! Be a ringer, taxi or friend in a dance you know well. - 6:30pm Traditional Waltz, taught by Simon - 7pm Lindy Hop, taught by Catherine & David - 7:30pm Charleston (Partner Charleston), taught by Catherine & David - 8pm Balboa Swing Dance, taught by Catherine & David SWING DANCE SOCIAL 8:30pm to 10:30pm - DJ Aleksandr 8:30-9:15pm - Reply All Swing Band led by Leon Yao 9"15pm to 10pm! - DJ Brady 10-10:30pm Admission: $20 with the lessons (take as many or few as you like), $10 for the social only (8:30pm to 10:30pm). $5 off for full-time students with ID.
