Home Cooked Swing (100 Gigs Celebration!)

Our journey at The Moldy Fig began back in the October of 2018. Our mixture of laid back swing and blues standards seemed like a perfect setting for the diners enjoying the authentic New Orleans cuisine and atmosphere. We become regulars on the band rotation and after a while earned the privilege of a fortnightly residency (the 2nd Saturday and 4th Friday of each month) We've had so many great nights at the Fig playing sometimes from 6.30pm til 10.30pm and many occasions where we were visited by swing dancers enjoying a social night. Of course some nights are quiet which is just as enjoyable for those having a romantic dinner. This year we have reached a very rare milestone of playing over 100 gigs at the venue and we would love you to help us celebrate! If you've been a regular, or just a once off - come along for this event on Saturday 9th Nov and show your support for live music and also for the hard work Dorelle puts in every week and all her fantastic staff. We'll make sure our best line-up is there so book your table early to get a good view of the band and hopefully to see some dancing action later in the night. Let's party like it's 1924!
