Its Christmas!!!! And Birmingham's swing Scene is coming together to put on a party you won't forget! Hot Club de Swing Hot Ginger The Swing Era (Events and Workshops) and Jazz JiveSwing are teaming together and taking over the whole of the upstairs at the Hare and Hounds! One room dedicated to Electro Swing, with 3 live bands and DJs playing the hottest tunes until 3am, and one room dedicated to vintage swing, with swing dancing DJs, and coctails bringing back that speakeasy vibe of 1929 Room 1Line up: Electric Swing Circus C@ in the H@ Mr Tea and the Minions The Glamophones Room 2 Line up: Beginners Swing Dance class with Jazz Jive Swing, Intermediate Swing Dance Class with the Swing Era (make sure you come early for these) Then Social dancing all night with Jazz Jive Swing, The Swing Era and Hot Ginger DJs all night Hot Club De Swing is all about bringing back the speakeasy vibe of the 1920s prohibition era. Organised and curated by the Electric Swing Circus - one of the UKs hottest Electro-Swing bands you can expect to see a good mix of electro swing and speakeasy jazz, along with cabaret performance and something that is just that little bit special! Starting at 20:00 and going on until 3am, but get your tickets early as we usually sell out in advance.
