Houston Salsa Congress 2016

Houston Salsa Dancers, Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes the Afro-caribbean culture through music and dance. We host different events and activities throughout the year with our main one being the Houston Salsa Congress held every Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend (Jan 14-17). In the year 2000, Houston Salsa Dancers, Inc. hosted the first Congress of its kind in the City of Houston. In 2016 the Houston Salsa Congress continues to highlight the beauty, creativity, and culture of Latin dance and music with our featured artists. We will showcase artists from different countries. We will have professional dancers such as World Champions in our city of Houston. All the work we do and funds raised are then given to scholarships to college students the following year. We will be donating $10,000 in scholarships this year.
