About this Event

HAVE YOU BEEN FEELING THE CALL? ໑ To slow down, breathe and let your natural embodied creativity and resourcefulness guide your life? ໑ For connection-oriented workshops to slow down and become more attuned and energetic? ໑ To bring all of your parts along into every interaction, especially when exploring intimacy and eros? ໑ For sacred sexuality spaces to be more attachment system savvy and trauma-aware? ໑ For intimacy and relational experiences to support the full expansion of your sensual range and growing edge of aliveness? Join us for an immersive and transformative training that merges the bodies of work that are Dance Meets Tantra and “The Field” in a unique retreat called “How Slow Can We Go?” Imagine what is possible in a group of embodied humans when all parts are deeply met, felt, and attuned to BEFORE exploring more sensual or erotic connection. Imagine what is possible for our ecstatic aliveness when the group field is overflowing with safety, trust, nervous system awareness, self-acceptance and love! Imagine what would be possible for you if you brought every single part of you along into connection with others, and the potency of that level of relatedness overflowed into your work, your purpose, passion, and into every other important area of your life. This December, as we are heading into the winter solstice, energetically the deepest, slowest time of the year we invite you to meet the depth of the potential in this season by exploring “How Slow Can We Go?” This is your opportunity to drop out of the busy hustle of the holidays and drop into a radically nourishing journey of embodiment, nervous system and attachment attunement, and the temple arts. How Slow Can We Go is for you if: ໑ You have been yearning to explore your embodied, sensual and ecstatic nature in a highly attuned, attachment system savvy and trauma-aware environment. ໑ You have been busy all year and are in need of a deep, nourishing, reset. ໑ You have been hesitant to step into eros-positive spaces because you’re concerned they won’t be slow or attuned enough for your system ໑ You want to radically nourish yourself heading into the deepest part of the winter, and the New Year. ໑ You are looking for a group of beautiful human beings to deepen with, into a new possibility of relational alleyship. Through a blend of dance, meditation, breath work, temple arts, and tantric practices, we will guide you on a transformative journey of self-discovery and relational intimacy. We will continuously come back to the principles of slow grace and somatic attunement as a way to sink down and into the body, to open and relax as we emerge from the depths of a unique embodied blossoming. Moving at the speed of love, allows us to let go of the fast-paced demands of everyday life and drop into a state of deep relaxation and receptivity. Through slow and intentional movement, we will explore the subtleties of sensation and connection, inviting a profound sense of somatic depth and true, authentic, source-filled connection. During our time together, you will have the opportunity to: ໑ Foster authentic connections and deep intimacy with others in a safe and consensual space. ໑ Unleash your creativity and learn to trust your body's innate wisdom. ໑ Explore sensual and expressive movement through various guided dance practices. ໑ Rediscover your vulnerability, innocence and wildness in a space of trust, permission and play! ໑ Reclaim your body as an intelligent instrument that works as an inner barometer for your felt truth. ໑ Explore what it means to be present in the body and practice your unique expression in your own space and in connection to a loving group. ໑ Develop the capacity to take responsibility for your boundaries, desires and needs, through self-attunement and clear present moment-based communication. ໑ Discover new pathways to sensual pleasure and expanded states of consciousness. This workshop is open to individuals of all experience levels, genders, and relationship orientations. Whether you are new to The Fields of Embodied Intimacy and Dance Meets Tantra or have previous experience, we invite you to come with an open heart and a willingness to explore. Join us for “How Slow Can We Go?” and discover the transformative power of intentional and immersive embodied practices as we journey towards deepening our connection and opening our bodies to find a more authentic pace with slowness that not only inspires somatic depth but also expands our capacity for pleasure. She is a group facilitator extraordinaire, event producer, and a new mother. In 2014 she co-founded Embodied Intimacy, which has become one of the most respected organizations globally that offers trainings and events focussed on intimacy, trauma, relational intelligence, somatic education and community. The work of Embodied Intimacy supports hundreds of people each year to come home to themselves, to their body and more regulated nervous systems, and become more of who they truly are. Since 2019, Rachel has led the Belly2Belly Facilitator Training after her teacher and mentor, David Cates, passed the torch and CEO position for this work to her. Belly2Belly offers a simple and yet profoundly healing set of embodied and relational practices, which support people to learn to regulate their nervous systems in a way that can be transformational for their relationships. Rachel has single handedly produced and facilitates most of the events with her extraordinary superpowers in the field of event planning and depth in embodied leadership. In 2022, Rachel launched her newest passion project, “The Field Facilitator Training.” This is a revolutionary new experiential learning environment for upcoming group facilitators who are passionate about creating fields of deep group-heart coherence and learning how to facilitate group soul emergence. This requires the development of radically new facilitation skills, such as learning to listen to the group field, collective surrender to the moment, as well as dynamic and fluid collective leadership to support the blossoming of the group soul that is longing to emerge in the space between us. www.the-field.com Spencer Jacobson Spencer is a transformational facilitator, DJ, poet and serial entrepreneur with a passion for the art of gathering humans to experience the deepest truths of ourselves individually and collectively.
