She started dancing tango and training in 1999 in her hometown; in 2007 she won the Metropolitan Milonga Championship of Buenos Aires and since then she has been teaching in different schools and milongas in Buenos Aires: La escuela Argentina de Tango, Estudio La esquina, Milonga El Floreal, El Moran, El Beso, Si sos Brujo; Silvana has also been a judge in several tango championships in Buenos Aires. Among her teachers are. Jorge Dispari and María del Carmen Romero, Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, Javier Rodríguez and Geraldine Rojas, Gustavo Naveira and Gisele Anne, Dana Frígoli and Pablo Villarraza, Nito and Elba, Luciano Brigante and Angeles Chañaha.
